I'm back from The Everlasting tour.

What can I say...it was an incredible time, filled with smiles, curious questions, people intrigued and fascinated by my story. There is nothing better as an author than to hear your book being enjoyed by readers.

I didn't think book signings could turn into meetings with some of the most interesting people with a desire to tell, to know, to understand. All of this was a discovery...I discovered parts of myself that I didn't think were my own.

I touched the breezes of how time and effort always pay off. I have understood how it is useless to force things as, at one time or another, great surprises will come. Many satisfactions, many smiles and appreciations.

Pen in hand, stories in heart.
Pen in hand, stories in heart.

The joy of it still echoes in my thoughts like a song that continues playing in the background of your day.

When I first held the finished copy of Everlasting in my hands, I dreamed of sharing it with readers face to face, but I couldn’t have imagined just how meaningful and fulfilling the journey would be.

This tour, from start to finish, became more than a signing run. It was a celebration. Of storytelling. Of imagination. Of connection.

Each city brought something new. Every stop had its own rhythm, its own energy. I met readers who already read my book and came to discuss it with me and readers who had just discovered the book and were full of questions and wonder.

Wherever I went, there was warmth.

A shared sense of curiosity and an appreciation for the kind of story Everlasting was written to be: hopeful, adventurous, and quietly powerful.

Watch closely, a signature in the making!

Meeting readers in person brought the story to life in a way I hadn’t fully experienced before. It was one thing to write the world of Everlasting in solitude, but something entirely different to hear how others interpreted it, felt it, and immersed themselves into it.

The conversations weren’t about decoding every detail or diving deep into hidden meanings, they were about what it felt like to read it. And that, to me, meant everything.

Some people shared that it had been a long time since they’d read a fantasy novel and that Everlasting reminded them of why they used to love them. Others came out just because they were curious and left with a book and a smile. There were young readers, lifelong readers, first-time readers. Everyone was welcome, and everyone brought something special to the moment. It never felt like I was speaking to strangers, but rather with a community.

The questions were thoughtful and genuine, about the writing process, the inspiration behind certain scenes, and how the world of Everlasting came together piece by piece. I loved those conversations, not because I had all the answers, but because they reminded me that writing is as much about listening as it is about telling.

From my hand to your shelf!
From my hand to your shelf!

One of the most unexpected joys was the quiet in-between moments: signing books while chatting about favorite places to read, hearing how someone’s friend had recommended the book, or simply sitting after the event and letting it all soak in. There was something grounding about those simple exchanges. Just real human moments connected by a story.

Now that I’m back home, unpacking my things and reflecting on everything, I feel grateful.

Not just for the chance to share Everlasting with more people, but for the reminder that stories don’t live in isolation. They belong to everyone who reads them, who imagines just a little further, who carries the feeling with them after the last page.

To everyone who came out—thank you. Thank you for reading, for listening, for showing up. Thank you for making this journey not just successful, but deeply rewarding.

I wrote Everlasting hoping it would leave a quiet kind of glow in the hearts of readers.

What I didn’t expect was how much of that glow you would return to me.

This book, this journey, it all feels exactly as its title suggests: Everlasting.

From bookstore shelves to yours.
