Everlasting Wins the Regal Summit Book Award

It is with immense gratitude and deep emotion that I share this news: my novel, Everlasting, has been awarded the Regal Summit Book Award - Young Adult 2025.

Writing this book was a journey into unknown worlds. It pushed me to grow in every sense. Receiving this recognition from the Regal Summit committee is both an incredible honor and a powerful affirmation of the vision, time, and persistence behind the work.

From the very beginning, my goal with Everlasting was to create a fantasy world that felt immersive, layered, and lived-in. A place where ancient powers still whisper through forgotten ruins, where histories are buried beneath centuries of silence, and where every detail—every name, tradition, and fragment of lore—contributes to something greater. I wanted readers to step into this world and feel both the weight of its past and the urgency of its unfolding future.

To have that world acknowledged in this way is deeply exciting. It means a great deal to know that the effort to shape a complex, fully realized fantasy realm has resonated with readers and fellow writers alike.

The writing process behind Everlasting was full of discovery. There were moments when the story took unexpected turns, when characters grew beyond their roles, and when seemingly minor details revealed themselves as central to the narrative. Whole aspects of the world emerged late in the process, often when I least expected them.

That unpredictability is part of what makes writing fantasy such a rewarding challenge.

You start writing, but the real journey only begins once the world starts speaking back to you.

I’m incredibly thankful to the readers who stepped into this world and stayed. Every message, every thoughtful review, and every conversation about the book helped bring its magic beyond the page.

And of course, a heartfelt thank-you to the Regal Summit Book Award committee for this recognition. It’s an honor to be included among such a distinguished group of authors, and I’m deeply proud to see Everlasting stand alongside other works that celebrate the power of imagination.

This moment is more than a personal achievement—it's a milestone in the larger creative journey I’ve committed to. There are more stories waiting to be told, more worlds waiting to be built, and I’m excited to keep going.
